Guests lined up early and in masses this morning around New Orleans Square at Disneyland to try the Sugar Plum Churro.
Bright purple in color, the Sugar Plum churro is definitely on the sweeter side. It is tart and sugary as one would guess by the name, but actually pretty delicious when fresh and warm. We would describe the taste almost like blueberry but tart like a plum might be. This churro does not have a dipping sauce available like some of the others do, but we think it is sweet enough on its own. This churro is a fun one to try for a Disneyland staple with a unique twist.
The Sugar Plum churro is available near the Haunted Mansion in New Orleans Square.
