The Winter Wonders brings food celebrating Christmas and Diwali at the Festival of Holidays 2018 celebration in Disney California Adventure. There are two savory food options, one dessert, and one non-alcoholic beverage for your eating and drinking adventure.

Pumpkin Soup with Maple Cashew Cream ($6.50)

This item split our group straight down the middle. Half of us thought it was a delightful coup of soup while the other half thought it was not the complete opposite. Knowing your own taste preferences will help you decide which side of the argument you would come down on when it comes to a cup of soup like this. One thing we all agreed on was that the presentation and quality were high, even if we didn’t all agree on the final outcome.

Chana Masala with Grilled Garlic Naan ($6.75)

Another item that had us divided. There’s no denying that this dish is popping with flavor. Whether the flavor hits home with you is another question. The garlic naan was a nice side pairing that could easily be eaten on its own if you were to buy this item and discover that the flavor of the Chana Masala wasn’t for you.

Vanilla and Lingonberry Trifle ($5.00)

This dessert is labeled as Vanilla & Cranberry Trifle on the menu, but the cast member at the booth told us that it isn’t cranberry in the dessert, but rather it is lingonberry. The dessert itself was pleasing. The tart flavor of the lingonberry paired well with the vanilla and cream in this offering.

Pomegranate Lemonade ($6.00)

The pomegranate lemonade is nothing spectacular. That’s not to say that it’s bad, but at the price point they are charging you could easily make better use of your money on other drinks. The pomegranate did add a nice accent of sweet tartness to the already tart lemonade.
