The view from Mickey and Friends parking structure provides a lot of insight into the major resort construction taking place. As you can see, not much looks different from this view of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. But from an aerial perspective, the Land is coming together in time for its Summer 2019 debut.
Progress over at the new parking structure is very visible. The escalators look like a new addition and it appears there will be three that descend from the structure to the loading area, much like the existing escalators.
Over at the Downtown Disney District, not much has changed with the construction taking place at Black Tap Craft Burgers and Shakes.
However, Ballast Point is still coming along little by little.
Adventureland has been in need of a new addition and we predict this restaurant is going to be a huge hit among guests. It features a fun new menu with items never seen at the Disneyland Resort before. The atmosphere and the food make for a perfect Instagram shot!
After a summer and fall refurbishment, Matterhorn has debuted a fresh look. We love the new, colorful, and organized entrance of this attraction.
Nearby, the construction by Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage has been completed and reveals a wider walkway. Previously this spot was taken over by a rock facade. But now Disney has removed the facade, allowing for more guests to walk past the beautiful blue water.
Construction walls have gone up outside of Star Tours-The Adventures Continue. Any guesses on whether they’re widening the walkway or perhaps creating a new Fast Pass queue?
