REVIEW: Mickey’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Cupcake and Bacon Mac ‘n’ Cheese Footlong Hot Dog – Get Your Ears On Celebration at Disneyland Park

Disneyland is celebrating Mickey and Minnie with lots of fun new food to celebrate the iconic duo. In Toon Town you can get a variety of treats and eats to satisfy both your sweet and savory tooth. You can actually get both of the items I am reviewing from Pluto’s Dog House. I didn’t know that until after I had already purchased the Mickey Chocolate Chip Cookie Cupcake from Clarabelle’s which is right next to Pluto’s Dog House. It all started with a mouse, so get your ears on and celebrate.

Get Your Ears On

This cupcake is a cupcake sized chocolate chip cookie with buttercream frosting, birthday sprinkles, a red glitter macaron, a sugar candle, chocolate ears, and a blue sprinkle party hat. It really does taste exactly like a chocolate chip cookie. The frosting, sugar candle, chocolate ears, and blue sprinkle hat are nice additions. This treat pairs nicely with milk and is definitely shareable.

Bacon Mac ‘n’ Cheese Foot-long Hot Dog ($9.49)

Bacon Mac ‘n’ Cheese Foot-long Hot Dog

This hot dog screams theme park food. It actually surprised me that I enjoyed this hot dog. The bacon laden macaroni ‘n’ cheese made for a good pairing with the hot dog. This dish won’t be mistaken for a Gordon Ramsey classic, but it certainly hit the mark for me. This foot long hot dog is perfect for feeding more than one hungry mouth. I actually used a fork to eat some of the mac ‘n’ cheese because it was hard to fit it all in my mouth. One final recommendation if you eat this item – get lots of napkins.
