With so many other Disney hotels currently under construction, it’s hard to keep track of them all, but with Gran Destino Tower at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort opening this summer, it’s time to shift gears for its grand opening. Room reservations opened up back in November and reservations for Toledo – Tapas, Steak, and Seafood opened up earlier this month. Now, a video has surfaced showing the latest renderings for Gran Destino Tower. It shows us the resort’s porte-cochère, club lounge, and viewing deck, as well as the interiors for Toledo and Three Bridges Bar & Grill.
For visual reference, here’s the initial artist rendering for the resort:
And here’s what construction looked like back in November:
Are you looking forward to staying at Gran Destino Tower?
“Are you looking forward to staying at Gran Destino Tower?”
No.
“Are you looking forward to staying at Gran Destino Tower?”
YES!
Loving the redesign of this property so far.
Looks beautiful, but who wants to drive out to Maitland to stay there?…. Oh. That’s on WDW property in a highly themed resort? Well who decided to put a Marriott in there?…. Oh. That isn’t a Marriott? …. Well, at least it won’t be priced like a Disney resort…. Oh. Wait. Seriously, it does look beautiful, no doubt, but I’m just uninspired by the “suburban Atlanta Marriott” look of these new hotels. I go to WDW to feel like I’m somewhere I can’t be at home and hotels that look like this are in every relatively large metro these days.
