After closing in Fall of last year to undergo refurbishment, White Water Snacks at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is back! And it’s better than ever, with a refreshed interior and menu. We have a feeling this fan-favorite restaurant is going to be an even bigger hit than before.
White Water Snacks
Right when guests walk under the sign and through the doors, they are greeted with an assortment of snacks, light meals, and drinks.
To the left of the entrance are chips, pastries, fruit, and souvenir travel mugs.
And to the right of the entrance are assorted cookies and more pastries, such as croissants. If you’re looking for a quick item that is more filling, there is a cold selection next to this display. Complimentary coffee is available for hotel guests until 10:30 AM.
Two salad options are available, as well as two different parfait options (including one vegan option!) The parfaits look really good, while the Caesar Salad looks more filling than the Arugula Salad.
Next to the salads and parfaits is a wonderful coffee bar setup. White Water Snacks offers iced tea, regular and decaf hot coffee, hot chocolate, and cold brew coffee. And if you don’t take your coffee black, there are plenty of cream and sugar mix-ins.
Across from the coffee bar is a refrigerator with more beverages, including beer and wine. Guests can also find yogurt and a Charcuterie Pack, as well as more salads.
If you don’t have time to order food that you can eat at a table in the restaurant, White Water Snacks does offer several grab-and-go Deli Sandwiches that can be heated upon request.
Breakfast is served at White Water Snacks daily from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The options range from sweet to savory and there are items available for children, too.
The lunch and dinner menu is available from 11:00 AM to closing and offers an extensive list. From sandwiches to skewers to pizza and dessert, guests have plenty of options to choose from. You can order food to-go or eat at the restaurant.
Condiments, utensils, and napkins are available in the dining room. While the servers will serve guests metal utensils for eating, there are also plastic utensils that can be used.
The dining room has plenty of space, both for small and large groups. We love the stonework throughout the interior, as it matches really well with the hotel’s signature Arts and Crafts design. The hanging lanterns are a nice detail, too.
Overall, we’re really impressed with the refreshed look of the newly refurbished White Water Snacks at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. It feels like an extension of the main lobby of the hotel, and the updated menu is a much-needed change, too. What do you think of this new look?
