Tangaroa Terrace might be back from their refurbishment, but the nearby pool area at the Disneyland Hotel is currently undergoing a lengthy refurbishment of its own. The refurbishment started back on January 7th and is scheduled to last through May 2019.
Fortunately, the E-Ticket Pool is available during the refurbishment, but poolside Cabana rentals will be limited. Guests will also have access to the California Streamin’ waterslide at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel.
After March 2019, guests will regain access to the D-Ticket Pool and the Mickey Spa.
The D-Ticket Pool is currently filled, but looking murky.
The spa is even murkier. It’s surprising that Disney wouldn’t drain the spa or at least cover it.
The Monorail Slides, Monorail Pool, and Minnie Spa won’t be available until the refurbishment finishes in May. Currently almost all of the Monorail Slides are behind scaffolding and tarps.
Hopefully, the refurbishment will wrap up before the summer heat goes into full effect. We are looking forward to seeing the newly refurbished pool area in May.
