Food & Wine Festival has returned to Disney California Adventure Park with lots of new items to enjoy. From new menu offerings to new merchandise, we’ve been loving the variety of the Festival this year. So far, one of the best parts of the Festival has been finding specialty items available at outdoor vending carts throughout Disney California Adventure Park. We spotted these Double Mustard-Glazed Chicken Wings at the cart outside Cars Land and we had to try them.

Double Mustard-Glazed Chicken Wings – $8.00

Based on name alone, we imagined that we would be eating delicious chicken wings. And four wings for $8.00 isn’t a bad deal for a Food & Wine Festival item. But sadly, that’s where our positive remarks come to an end.

These chicken wings did not have the consistency of real chicken, which doesn’t make sense to us, but it’s true. Unfortunately, the “meat” was very gelatinous in texture, making it very difficult to consume this dish. We did like the mustard glaze and this sauce would taste really good on real chicken wings. But the sauce was a lost cause on these.

We recommend you skip this item and go straight for the Chocolate Peanut Butter Churro in Hollywood Land. Or better yet, the Pineapple-Jalepeño Cotton Candy in Paradise Gardens Park. Both of these items were significantly better than these Double Mustard-Glazed Chicken Wings.
