It’s springtime at Disneyland Resort, which brings new Easter desserts, beautiful flowers, and Spring Break crowds. Here’s a look at what’s going on this spring at Disneyland Park.

Disneyland Park

As we enter the Main Gate, the crowds don’t appear to be quite so bad… yet. While this area can handle an influx of guests, other areas of Disneyland Park cannot. Let’s keep going.

As we’ve detailed in past photo reports, there have been construction walls up in front of City Hall that caused quite a roadblock. Finally, they are down and this area is easier to walk through.

It’s hard to tell what has changed, but this planter than serves to block the Guest Relations line from the flow of traffic is new. It appears there are trying to designate more room for guests who are waiting in line at City Hall, as this area can get pretty crowded throughout the day.

As we make our way further down Main Street, U.S.A. we start to notice just how many people are also visiting Disneyland Park today.

If you’re a fan of the Easter holiday, from the pastel colors to the yummy treats, we suggest stopping by Candy Palace and Candy Kitchen. The Cast Members are hard at work making Easter Eggs.

And if rice crispy treats are your thing, you can find plenty of Easter-themed options available for purchase. We love the bunnies and colorful Easter eggs.

Across the way at Disney Clothiers, the new Dapper Yellow Spirit Jersey is on sale for $64.99. There are plenty of these Jerseys in stock, perhaps a sign that this color isn’t taking off as well as its predecessors?

The holiday season is one of the most popular times of year at Disneyland Park. But we present to you an alternative favorite: spring at the Disneyland Park. Look at how beautiful these flowers are at The Hub! Everything is in full bloom right now, which makes Sleeping Beauty Castle much more fun to photograph.

A fan-favorite every year, the Tabebuia trees have sprouted their gorgeous flowers once more. If you’re looking for cute springtime photos at Disneyland, you can’t go wrong with a photo of these trees.

And to get you even more into the springtime spirit, the Thumper balloons are back.

As we make our way into Fantasyland, we instantly take note of two things: the scrim has gone back up at Sleeping Beauty Castle and the crowds in this land are intense. Between Fantasyland and Tomorrowland, we can’t imagine which is worse designed to handle a high capacity of guests.

Massive amounts of strollers don’t help with the flow of guests, either. As we can see by the entrance to Mickey’s Toontown, the strollers take up a huge portion of the walkway. Likewise, there are quite a lot of large parties visiting the Resort this time of year, which also impacts the crowd index.

Speaking of Tomorrowland, we decided to check on how things are coming in this area of Disneyland Park.

Astro Orbitor is set to reopen April 5 and it looks like they should be on schedule, from what we can see. After being removed in its entirety, the attraction has returned and it looks better than ever.

But the same cannot be said for the rest of Tomorrowland.

The FastPass distribution signs at both Star Tours and Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters are still not functioning properly, as we highlighted in our Weekly Disneyland Resort Maintenance Report.

But one of the biggest issues in Tomorrowland is the line for Guest Relations. The people in this photo are just standing around, trying to walk on by, or waiting to speak to a Cast Member. This line is completely unorganized and takes up most of the walkway, which is already limited. We can only imagine how much worse it will be this summer.

We’re sorry to say that if you were hoping to enter Frontierland from Adventureland, you won’t be able to do so. Project Stardust has finally hit the shops and walkways in Frontierland.

Pioneer Mercantile remains opens to guests looking to purchase merchandise, however, the outside porch and walkway are currently blocked off for refurbishment.

The construction of this shop is quite extensive. However, despite how unpleasant this looks, we think the refurbishment is necessary. The porch has become quite a hazard for guests, especially for those with disabilities and those who simply don’t look where they are walking. We hope they’ll be fixing the porch to make entering and exiting these shops much smoother.

Over in New Orleans Square, there are still construction walls up between Rivers of America and Haunted Mansion. Not much has changed, and this still presents a bit of a challenge to the flow of this area.

But over at Critter Country, refurbishments in front of Hungry Bear Restaurant have finally come to an end.

Previously, the churro cart sat right on the main pathway. In an effort to take up less walking space, the planters were moved back and the churro cart now sits out of the way.

And finally, we paid a visit to Pooh Corner. The exterior to this shop is still under refurbishment, with no visual changes that we can see.

But inside, they have the new pet Spirit Jerseys in stock, available for $34.99. They come in black and Potion Purple, also available in adults sizes. Now you and your pet can match!

Last, we spotted Easter candy apples available at Pooh Corner for $11.99. Mickey and Minnie are adorable with their pastel colors, but we adore the baby chick candy apple the most. You can find these available at Marceline’s in Downtown Disney, too.
