With the launch of the new Briar Rose Gold collection at the Disneyland Resort comes new treats at the bakeries throughout the Resort. First, we spotted two new Briar Rose Gold Minnie Shortbread Cookies. And now there is a new Briar Rose Gold Cake Pop to enjoy.

Briar Rose Gold Cake Pop – $4.99

First of all, this cake pop is gorgeous. The outer chocolate shell is a beautiful soft-pink color covered with a layer of gold shimmer. The gold shimmer did rub off on our fingers, but it’s so pretty that we didn’t mind.

One bite is all it took for us to fall in love with this cake pop. It has a very rich and creamy vanilla flavor, with just the right amount of sweetness. If this cake pop were any bigger, it might have been too much for us to finish this sweet treat.

As for the consistency of the cake inside, it was more like cookie dough than cake. However, we personally didn’t have a problem with this. But if you prefer your cake to be a little less doughy, you might not love the consistency of this.
