Everything You Need to Know: Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo is set in a multi-purpose transport shuttle that’s docked on top of a large hangar. Inside, guests can find Tugg’s Grub, a “traveling diner for diners traveling” which is run by Chef Strono “Cookie” Tuggs. His modified Sienar-Chall Utilipede Transport can be transformed into a mobile kitchen and restaurant, and he’s set up base in the hangar for all these new travelers, gathering inspiration from his time on Takodana and ingredients from across the galaxy. Black Spire Easter Egg: The three trailer-sized cargo pods that Strono Tuggs is off-loading from his multi-purpose transport into the hangar bay contain three interesting Easter eggs: the first is stamped with the number 77, the second one (which is dangling from cables through the roof’s opened portal) is marked 80, and the last one (which is still aboard Tuggs’s Grub) is branded 83. These are the years that the films of the original Star Wars trilogy came out.
There’s plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy your meals out in the fine California––I mean Batuuian––weather.
Needless to say, the entire area is just as insanely themed as the rest of the land.
WHO: Chef Strono “Cookie” Tuggs
Chef Strono “Cookie” Tuggs has docked a food freighter loaded with fresh supplies and he’s ready to satisfy the appetites of visitors and locals alike with an array of exotic offerings. His planet-hopping travels allow him to prepare fare with unusual flavors that delight customers. His travels across the galaxy allow him to fill his pantry with exotic ingredients, and he’s proud to present Tuggs’ Grub, a “traveling diner for diners traveling,” inspired by dishes he created during his time working for Maz Kanata on Takodana. Tuggs was there when Han Solo, Chewbacca, Rey and Finn landed on Takodana to see Maz Kanata, and after the events there, made his way to the Black Spire to set up his own restaurant.
WHERE: Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo is located by the entrance to Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. You might want to wait until after your flight to fill up on all the delicious meals you’ll find inside the docking bay, though. Once you’ve got your grub, sit inside the spacious hangar, or grab a table in the rustic outdoor seating area surrounded by the crumbling walls of the old marketplace.
WHAT: Galactic Grub for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
You get to eat everything with these amazingly themed sporks. It’s both a blessing and a curse, but at least you look cool while chowing down.
Breakfast
Rising Moons Overnight Oats – Oats, Dragon Fruit, Yogurt, Seasonal Fruit – $6.99
Overnight oats are also available at Ronto Roasters and Oga’s Cantina. For something so basic, this is the ultimate execution of overnight oats. It’s amazing and served chilled, as it should be. The fruit is super fresh, too. This exceeded our expectations!
Bright Suns Morning – Three-Cheese Egg Bite, Pork Sausage, Purple Potato Hash, Mini Mustafarian Lava Roll – $10.99
The Mustafarian Lava Roll is a smaller version of the one found over at Oga’s Cantina. It is basically an Oreo-topped cinnamon roll merged into croissant form! Just as good here. The three-cheese egg bite is light and flavorful, albeit a little on the salty side. The Grilled Pork Sausage is the same one used on the Ronto Wrap at Ronto Roasters. The sausage is really great, with a good snap in every bite. As for the purple potato hash, we found it to be quite enjoyable. The pearl onions, red peppers, mushrooms, and purple potatoes work well together and offer a nicely seasoned side item. Add this dish to the win pile.
Mustafarian Lava Roll – Sweet Galactic Delight – $5.99
Again, this is the same Mustafarian Lava Roll as the one from Oga’s Cantina. This one is also larger than the ones that accompany the breakfast entrees. A great option if you want a lighter start to your day with just a pastry.
Bright Suns Youngling Breakfast (Scrambled Eggs, Purple Potatoes, Fresh Fruit, and Your Choice of Small Low-Fat Milk or Small Dasani Water) – $6.99
The Bright Suns Youngling Breakfast is essentially a toned-down version of the Bright Suns Morning. The eggs here are just standard scrambled eggs, so no three-cheese blend. That said, there is still an enjoyable light texture. As for the purple potato hash, the additional vegetables are missing, offering a more straightforward hash for younger eaters. The Mini Mustafarian Lava Roll is the same as the one in the Bright Suns Morning entrée. Overall, the Bright Suns Youngling Breakfast is a solid option for kids.
Breakfast Specialty Beverages
Moof Juice (Simply Fruit Punch and Simply Orange with Chipotle-Pineapple) – $5.49
While the peach hue may look pretty, Moof Juice is rather bland and forgettable. Skip this.
Phattro (Gold Peak Unsweetened Tea, Odwalla Lemonade, and Desert Pear) – $5.49
Another miss on the drink menu, this basically tastes like grape Kool-Aid.
Batuubucha Tea (Suja Pineapple Passionfruit Kombucha) – $5.49
And if you thought the other drinks were bad, this one is extremely tart. If you aren’t used to kombucha, this isn’t the best place to start.

Lunch Entrees
Felucian Garden Spread – Plant-based “Kefta”, Herb Hummus, Tomato-Cucumber Relish, Pita – $12.99
This dish includes falafel-like, plant-based meatballs that are absolutely delicious. If you didn’t know these were plant-based, you’d be surprised to find out these aren’t made of meat. The Felucian Garden Spread is only available during lunch hours.
All-Day Entrees
Smoked Kaadu Ribs – Sticky Pork Ribs, Blueberry Corn Muffin, Cabbage Slaw – $16.99
The Kaadu ribs are tender and topped with some great seasoning. The blueberry cornbread meshed well with the rest of the flavors in the dish, while the coleslaw gave the dish quite the kick. This was the first dish we encountered that was hard to eat with the spork, but it was far from the last. A knife would be really essential here.
Fried Endorian Tip-Yip – Crispy Chicken, Roasted Vegetable Potato Mash, Herb Gravy – $15.49
The Fried Tip-Yip features tender chicken, with flavorful, crunchy breading. The herb gravy really makes the dish when paired with everything else.
Roasted Endorian Tip-Yip Salad – Marinated Chicken, Mixed Greens, Roasted Seasonal Vegetables, Quinoa, and Pumpkin Seeds, tossed in Green Curry Ranch – $13.99
This is a great take on chicken caesar salad, and probably the best caesar salad we’ve had at any Disney restaurant. The pumpkin seeds add a really nice crunch.
Yobshrimp Noodle Salad – Chilled Shrimp, Marinated Noodles, Vegetables, Cilantro – $15.99
This item is also available as a kid’s meal. This Vietnamese-inspired dish includes plenty of well-cooked shrimp. All the flavors really came from the herbs in the dish. Another dish that’s hard to eat because the noodles don’t tend to behave with the spork very well.
Dinner Entrees
Braised Shaak Roast – Beef Pot Roast, Cavatelli Pasta, Wilted Kale, Mushrooms – $18.99
The Shaak Roast kind of reminds me of the pot roast from Liberty Tree Tavern over at the Magic Kingdom. It’s really sizable and tender, and surprisingly moist. The pasta and greens were also cooked perfectly and made the perfect accompaniment.
Ithorian Garden Loaf – Plant-based “Meatloaf”, Roasted Vegetable Potato Mash, Seasonal Vegetables, Mushroom Sauce – $14.99
The Garden loaf is great if you’re vegan or trying to eat plant-based, and it’s probably the closest you can get to meatloaf if you are. The use of shiitake mushrooms here really elevates the dish.
Kids’ Meals
Yobshrimp Noodle Salad (Chilled Shrimp, Noodles, Vegetables, and Sweet Orange Dressing served with choice of Small Lowfat Milk or Small Dasani® Water) – $10.99
The kids menu version of the dish differs from adults in that it has a sweeter taste with less herb-based dressing on top. Still comes with plenty of shrimp!
A Taste of Takodana (Black Bean Hummus, Edible Soil with Nuts, Chilled Dipping Vegetables, Multigrain Crisps served with choice of Small Lowfat Milk or Small Dasani® Water) – $8.49
Great presentation here for an otherwise basic hummus and veggie dish. If your kid likes hummus, they will enjoy this dish. Here you have the added bonus of no spork being needed to eat, which is good for toddlers who wouldn’t be able to maneuver the spork.
Fried Endorian Tip-Yip (Crispy Chicken, Macaroni and Cheese and Seasonal Vegetables served with choice of Small Lowfat Milk or Small Dasani® Water) – $9.99
The chicken used here is the same as the one used in the main menu, but here it’s paired with a flavorful mac and cheese.
Desserts
Oi-oi Puff (Raspberry Cream Puff, Passion Fruit Mousse) – $6.49
The tanginess in the fruits here gives the pastry a bright, clean flavor that’s simply phenomenal. Definitely get this.
Batuu-bon (Chocolate Cake, White Chocolate Mousse, Coffee Custard) – $6.99
Another solid dessert. This one’s for people looking for a chocolate-forward dessert.
