The permit titled “Spider-man Merchandise” included the following:
DCA – Golden State Expansion – Bldg 441 A – New Commercial Construction: 2,071 sq ft merchandise building. 446 sq ft for (3) attached canopies.
Golden State is the former name of the land that is now Grizzly Peak, Grizzly Peak Airfield, and Pacific Wharf. The address attached to the permit indicates that the merchandise will either be near (across from) the under-construction Spider-Man web-slinger attraction.
To give a perspective on the size of the store, it is roughly the same size as the Starbucks in Disneyland Park.
