It’s almost summertime and we’re feeling the heat here in Southern California. The most bearable way to visit the Disneyland Resort on a hot day is to start early in the morning. Today, we ventured through Disneyland Park in the AM to check out all the latest happenings, including new merchandise and park enhancements.

Disneyland Park

Main Street, U.S.A.

The Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge commemorative maps are gone. They weren’t supposed to last past opening day, but they made it almost a week. They’ve been replaced with regular Guide Maps, this time with a Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run cover.

We thought most of the Resort enhancements had been completed before the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, but we’re still spotting some touch-ups here and there. This morning, we saw Cast Members painting the railings outside Tour Gardens.

Over at Emporium, the newest Disney Parks Wishables are on sale: the Ariel’s Undersea Adventure Series.

Guests can purchase Flounder on his own or the mystery pack that contains either Ariel, Scuttle, Sebastian, or Ursula. Flounder and each mystery pack can be purchased for $9.99 each.

The new Aladdin Dooney & Bourke handbags are on sale over at Disney Clothiers. They’re also available to on shopDisney.

The new Disney Parks Minis Collection by Loungefly is available in Disney Clothiers, too. This backpack and wallet set can be found at Walt Disney World and on shopDisney, so everyone can take home this cute collection.

The backpack retails for $75.00 and the matching wallet retails at $50.00.

The Potion Purple craze has slowed down quite a bit, but Disney quietly put out this new Mickey Potion Purple t-shirt. It’s available for $34.99.

Tomorrowland

Disneyland Park Photo Report June 11 2019

Over in Tomorrowland, the Force is still going strong. Despite being promoted as a limited time May the Fourth offering, Hyperspace Mountain is still here over a month later. Personally, we really love that it has continued to stick around. Disney hasn’t announced yet when this overlay will leave, so get your rides in while you can.

In Star Traders, we spotted some clothing from Black Spire Outfitters on the shelves. If you missed your chance to buy robes and an undertunic from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, here is your chance to do so outside of the land.

Fantasyland

Disneyland Park Photo Report June 11 2019

On our walk through Fantasyland, we spotted some paint touch-ups being done to the light poles in the “it’s a small world” promenade.

Disneyland Park Photo Report June 11 2019

And we were pleasantly surprised as we made our way further into Fantasyland. Dumbo the Flying Elephant only had a 10 minute wait time.

Disneyland Park Photo Report June 11 2019

And Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride had under a five-minute wait time.

Disneyland Park Photo Report June 11 2019

You could pretty much walk right onto Snow White’s Scary Adventure. But guests were more enthralled with Mad Hatter and Alice greeting guests outside the attraction.

We also spotted Suzy and Perla nearby on our walk to Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Disneyland Park Photo Report June 11 2019

Today felt like a great morning to visit Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough after the four-month refurbishment. We had the walkthrough to ourselves and it was nice to enjoy the various movie scenes.

If you need a moment during the day to escape the heat, we highly recommend checking out the Castle Walkthrough.

And just next door, we spotted an empty Fantasy Faire, a rare sight! We took this moment to enjoy the music and get photos of the area.

Frontierland

Frontierland was pretty quiet as well, with very little guests jumping aboard the Mark Twain Riverboat.

Adventureland

Disneyland Park Photo Report June 11 2019

Did you think you’d ever see no line at the Tiki Juice Bar? But it’s been a frequent sight these days and we’re loving it while it lasts.

Disneyland Park Photo Report June 11 2019

The rest of Adventureland is just as deserted at the line at the Tiki Juice Bar.

New Orleans Square

Disneyland Park Photo Report June 11 2019

New Orleans Square is fairly calm, too. It’s nice to see the line for Pirates of the Caribbean not go up around the bridge.

During our stroll, the Haunted Mansion was temporarily closed, so we used this chance to get photos of the gorgeous attraction. It will be celebrating 50 years this August!

Critter Country

Disneyland Park Photo Report June 11 2019

Despite having an entry and exit point leading to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, Critter Country is also just as empty as the rest of Disneyland Park.

We spotted new Stroller Parking signs outside of The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.

Disneyland Park Photo Report June 11 2019

And speaking of the attraction, there was no wait to ride it and guests were seen walking right into a beehive ride vehicle.

Disneyland Park Photo Report June 11 2019

Near the stroller parking, Cast Members can be seen touching up the wood railings.

Lastly, we made a stop in Pooh Corner to do a little shopping. And we spotted four new fuzzy character keychains. Marie, Stitch, Minnie Mouse, and Rainbow Unicorn keychains are available to buy for $9.99 each.
