REVIEW: New Reality Stone Churro Snaps Back at Hollywood Land in Disney California Adventure
Last week, we wished that the Power Stone Churro in Hollywood Land at Disney California Adventure be snapped out of existence. Today, we got our wish––only a new Infinity Stone-inspired churro has turned up in its place. Does the new Reality Stone Churro taste better than the Power Stone? Let’s find out.
Reality Stone Churro – $5.75
This specialty churro is rolled in cherry-flavored sugar, icing, and red rock candy. It’s better than the Power Stone Churro in that it doesn’t have the gross chemical aftertaste. However, the icing and sugar don’t taste even remotely like cherry. In fact, it doesn’t taste of anything at all. Despite how decorated and vibrant this churro is, it just tastes like a plain, regular churro. Which is weird, considering it gave off a very strong cherry smell.
The rock candy adds a nice crunch to each bite, but it’s not interesting enough to save this snack. The experience of eating this churro was less messy than the Power Stone Churro, but we still advise eating this with a ton of napkins on hand. And yes, it did stain our mouths red.
Once again, Disney strikes out on their Infinity Stone-themed Churros. Hopefully, the next one will be an improvement upon the two before it.
