Lava Dog – $9.79

If you’re looking to feast on an indulgent hot dog, this is a good option. We were surprised to find that we enjoyed it. First of all, the bread was so soft. It was toasted, but not too much that it’s tough to eat. And the hot dog itself was super juicy and flavorful.

As far as the pulled pork, Teriyaki sauce, and pineapple salsa––incredible. The pulled pork was so tender and not at all fatty. The Teriyaki sauce and pineapple salsa really complemented the pork and gave it a light, fruity flavor. To be honest, I found myself wanting to eat just the toppings instead of the whole hot dog, that’s how delicious the toppings were.

Lava Fries – $8.49

Similar to the Lava Dog, the fries are also topped with pulled pork, Teriyaki sauce, and pineapple salsa. Again, these toppings were amazing and I really enjoyed them on the filmstrip fries. The only complaint I have is that there wasn’t enough Teriyaki sauce, so the meat and fries weren’t as juicy as they should have been. I’d still order this again, just ask for more sauce on top.

Sorcerer Mickey Funnel Cake Fries – $7.99

This is the one specialty item we will not be trying again. For as cute as it looks, it sure was a disappointment. The cookies and cream sauce, red and yellow icings, and blue whipped cream were great, if not really sugary. But the Oreo cookies were stale and chewy. And the funnel cake fries were really tough to chew, too. At first, they seem soft. But it was nearly impossible to bite them apart.
