60-Day Advance Reservations Now Available for Savi’s Workshop at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland

Earlier today, we reported on Oga’s Cantina and expanded abilities on the calendar to potentially make advance reservations for the bar and lounge. Now Disney has officially confirmed that Savi’s Workshop will also follow the 60-day reservation process currently offered for restaurants and experiences requiring reservations.

Previously, guests could only book a reservation for Oga’s Cantina and Savi’s Workshop on the same day of their visit, beginning at 7 a.m., with a valid credit card.

Screen Shot 2019 07 24 at 4.42.56 PMAs of today, July 24, 2019, reservations for Oga’s Cantina are available through August 7th, 2019 and the Savi’s Workshop reservation page redirects to a calendar, also with availability through August 7th, 2019.

Will you be making reservations ahead of time to enjoy these offerings? It’s better than arguing with Oga, I’ll tell you that.

  1. No. Galaxy’s Edge is pretty boring. I will be having a drink with no reservation at Trader Sam’s.

  2. Their wording about cancellations is confusing. Prior to choosing a date, it says cancellations are allowed up to a day ahead of time, but when actually trying to book it, it seems like it says they still charge the full $199 for cancellations any time (“If you cancel or fail to check in for your reservation…”). I’d be more likely to reserve 60 days out if I knew I could cancel if plans changed, just like most of the restaurant reservations.

  3. Is it still possible to do Savi’s Workshop without doing this advanced reservation?
And will the 60 day booking happen later? Looks like they are only doing it a week or two in advance currently.

    • that’s what I was wondering. I’m going in September and I automatically checked the Disney website to make a reservation and it seems they are only doing 14 days in advance. if I cant make my own light saber ill be greatly disappointed.

  4. I have been trying for the last 2 hours getting a reservation for October. I can get a date and time but when I hit the ‘reserve’ button it says something’s gone wrong. This is very frustrating!
