When one parking lot opens, another one closes. The new Pixar Pals parking structure finally opened last week, adding 5,000 new parking spaces. And while this news is exciting, we have less-than-exciting news regarding parking in Downtown Disney District.

Disneyland Resort has recently made changes to parking for Downtown Disney by permanently closing the Stitch Lot on Magic Way. Guest visiting Downtown Disney will now be directed to Simba Lot for the time being. However, guest drop-off is still open at the Stitch Lot.

Previously, Simba Lot has been used as overflow guest parking when not being used by Cast Members. Now, it will serve as the lot for guests visiting Downtown Disney. Simba Lot is located by Paradise Pier Hotel. Guests can access Simba Lot at Disneyland Drive, south of the hotel.
