REVIEW: New Seasonal Round Up Dog Now Available at Refreshment Corner in Disneyland Park
Refreshment Corner in Disneyland has been all about the specialty hot dogs this summer. In May, we tried the Elote Hot Dog and last month indulged on the Main “Street Dog,” both of which we enjoyed. And Refreshment Corner is impressing us once again with the new Round Up Dog.
Round Up Dog – $11.99
This all-beef foot-long hot dog is topped with two bacon slices, BBQ sauce, fried onions, jack and cheddar cheese, and chives. And it comes served with a small bag of chips or sliced apples.
When it comes to a summer-themed hot dog, this is exactly what we’re looking for. You really get your money’s worth with these toppings, too. The BBQ sauce is on the sweeter side, which really balances the savory flavor from the fried onions and bacon. There’s no shortage of fried onions either, adding a nice crunch to each bite. The only thing that could have made this better was if the cheese was melted.
The Round Up Dog is huge, making it shareable if you’re not ready to take this on by yourself. If you’re in the mood for a hot dog while you’re at Disneyland, we highly recommend giving this a try! It is seasonal, though, so get it while you can.
