We never pass up a new cake pop! So when we spotted new Simba and Nala Cake Pops at Trolley Treats in Disney California Adventure, we just couldn’t wait to give them a try. Did we feel the love with this pair of treats? Keep reading to find out.

Simba and Nala Cake Pops – $5.49 each

First, we have the Simba Cake Pop. The red-dyed coconut shavings are a really cute touch to give this cake pop a “lion mane.”

Simba’s ears are made of marshmallow, while the rest of him is made of a chocolate cake and frosting mixture. It’s not often we get to try a chocolate-flavored cake pop, so we really enjoyed this surprise. The coconut shavings add a weird texture and serve more as decoration than anything else.

Nala’s ears are also made of marshmallows and she’s filled with a vanilla cake and frosting mixture. This tastes like every other vanilla-flavored cake pop available at the Disneyland Resort.

Both of these cake pops are moist and sweet, but not too sweet that you’ll feel sick after eating them. If you’re looking for a simple, but cute dessert next time you visit Disney California Adventure, these are a good option.
