If you’re looking for classic handmade peanut brittle, English toffee, or peanut or almond clusters at the Disneyland Resort, be sure to be on the lookout for new packaging… and a price increase to boot.
The Handmade Confections from Disneyland Resort now have packaging inspired by the ride vehicles of Disneyland, along with a see-through portion resembling Sleeping Beauty Castle. This is a big departure from the cellophane wrapping that the confections came in for many years and marks the first time guests could reseal the treat containers. We spotted these at Trolley Treats at Disney California Adventure, but we expect to see these across the Disneyland Resort, including Disneyland’s Main Street, U.S.A.
The back of the package has a special message which reads:
These special treats were made with a dash of Disney magic to inspire joy, laughter and a lifetime of lasting memories.
The bottom offers three boxes, “brittle,” “toffee,” and “clusters,” with whatever’s in the package being checked off. Those looking for more information (milk or dark chocolate, peanuts or almonds) can find that on the back of the packaging.
But as any Disney Parks fans knows, the only certain things in life are death, taxes, and price increases. Guests will now pay $11.49 for a package of these delicious treats. While these bags are bigger, the price per ounce is certainly higher.
So far, we’ve spotted peanut clusters, English toffee, dark chocolate almond clusters, and milk chocolate peanut clusters.
