The spell is cast and it’s time to get your snack on at Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure. Today marks the start of Halloween Time at the resort, and what’s any holiday at Disneyland Resort without some specialty churros?
Over at Churros in Hollywood Land, there’s a new Caramel Apple Churro which we recently reviewed, and in Buena Vista Street at Willie’s Churros, there’s the classic Pumpkin Spice churro, which is back this year for all you PSL (pumpkin spice latte) fans.
How is it? Well, we’re not the biggest fans of pumpkin-flavored snacks, so we werr surprised and delighted when we enjoyed this one. The pumpkin flavor wasn’t overpowering and the churro tasted like it was fresh out of the oven.
Last year, the offering came with a delicious cream cheese dipping sauce, which paired perfectly, but this year, it’s just the churro, unfortunately. Between the price hike and the lack of dipping sauce this year, we find it hard to recommend a $5.75 churro… unless you really, really… really like pumpkin spice.
