Corn Dog Castle in Paradise Gardens Park at Disney California Adventure is getting into the Halloween Time spirit with a Spicy Pepper Jack Cheese Stick… on a stick.
The stick of cheese is dipped in Corn Batter, drizzled with Blackberry Sauce and topped with Sweet Pineapple Salsa, Pickled Serranos and crushed spicy Cheese Puffs, according to the menu description.
Overall, this is one of the more mediocre Halloween Time offerings. It was nowhere near as spicy as pepper jack cheese should be.
The blackberry sauce and pineapple salsa are good, and make a nice accompaniment to the fried cheese, but at $9.99, I think your money could be better spent elsewhere. There’s simply not enough here to make this worthwhile.
