We may be a few weeks from Halloween, but it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Disneyland Park. Sleeping Beauty Castle has received its first layers of snow ahead of the arrival of the holiday celebrations to the park on November 8th. This marks the newly-refurbished castle’s first winter overlay since construction walls came down.

Currently, only the main roof and the highest turret has snow fallen on top.

There’s even pixie dust embedded onto the snow! The castle still needs more snow added to all of the remaining roofs, as well as wreaths and glowing icicle lights to complete its winter transformation.

During the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort from November 8, 2019 to January 6, 2020, guests can gather each evening in front of the castle to watch the iconic edifice shimmer to life as snow falls and music fills the air.
