Disneyland Resort is celebrating Gay Days from October 4-6 with limited time rainbow pride inspired food and drinks. The Hollywood Lounge in Disney California Adventure has a frozen rum runner drink that includes a light up rainbow glow cube that we spotted back in Walt Disney World.
Fabulous Freeze – $19.00
Generally the idea of a frozen drink (alcoholic or not) tends to make us cringe knowing that it’ll like be a sugar bomb. Who knew that this fabulous drink was just what we needed?
Thankfully, they kept this simple. It is light, refreshing, and only slightly sweet. We actually finished the whole thing without a problem! There are light notes of rum, but this is mostly just a tropical slush of happiness.
Perhaps remember to bring your reusable straws, so the paper one doesn’t disintegrate into a floppy mess… but overall, we would definitely grab this drink again.
Rainbow Glow Cube – $4.99
If tropical boozy drinks aren’t your thing, you can add a glow cube to any drink at Hollywood Lounge for a $4.99 charge.
Not the most well-made glow cube, but it brings a fun rainbow vibe to any drink, at any time. Be sure to swing by the Hollywood Lounge and grab this drink to wash down your Rainbow Funnel Cake Fries with before they are gone.
