Indiana Jones Adventure at Disneyland Park looks set to undergo a major overhaul in 2020 ahead of the attraction’s 25th anniversary.
According to a permit filed with the City of Anaheim, work is set to begin soon on some significant improvements to the 24-year-old attraction.
The permit describes the scope of work as “Remove and replace show set bridge to include steel structure, rockwork, and planks”. This show set bridge, of course, is the infamous bridge that has tried to trick guests it is ready to “collapse” for 24 years.
We would expect more work to be done on the attraction during the refurbishment, however, the scope of the additional work is not known at this time.
Disney has not added Indiana Jones Adventure to the Disneyland refurbishment calendar yet, so stay tuned to WDWNT for updates on this story.
Any word on when and how long on this refurb?
My guess it will be early 2020 so that its open for Summer
