Disneyland Resort Express Bus Service Ceasing Operation January 7th, SuperShuttle at LAX on December 31st

Two convenient ways to get from local airports to the Disneyland Resort will soon be no more. Coach USA announced today that they will be ending their “Disneyland Resort Express” bus service after January 7, 2020, bringing to an end the Disney sanctioned motorcoach service.

“Coach USA Southern California has informed their client Walt Disney Travel that the bus service between John Wayne Airport and Disneyland Resort Hotels and LAX and the Disneyland Resort Hotels will no longer continue after January 7, 2020,” according to an email to the Orange County Register from the Coach USA Corporate Affairs Director.

Disneyland Resort Express was available from 8 AM to 7 PM to and from LAX and John Wayne Airport (SNA). The bus service was branded with Disneyland Resort decals and was able to be booked via the Disneyland website as part of a vacation package. This now leaves only shuttle vans and rental cars as “official” Disneyland Resort transportation to both LAX and John Wayne Airport (SNA).

In addition, SuperShuttle, which was founded at LAX in 1983, has announced they are ending their service to LAX at the end of the the year. December 31, 2019 will be the last day of operation for SuperShuttle, which was an inexpensive way for guests arriving at LAX to journey to the Disneyland Resort via a shared shuttle van.

Disneyland’s website outlines all the transportation options available to and from local airports to the resort. Please note that while the Disneyland Resort Shuttle is still listed and will operate through January 7, 2020, it can no longer be booked.
