According to refurbishment schedules at Disneyland, King Arthur Carrousel will be closing for a lengthy refurbishment in a few weeks’ time. Slated to close on January 21, 2020, and stay closed through May 21, this four-month refurbishment is likely to be quite extensive.

King Arthur Carrousel isn’t the only attraction closing on January 21st for refurbishment, with Haunted Mansion Holiday and Grizzly River Run joining the long list of January refurbishment closures.

The scope of the work being done on King Arthur Carrousel isn’t known at this time, but the length of the closure indicates it could be quite intensive. As always, refurbishments can be altered at any time, and the planned May 22nd opening date could be changed.
