PHOTO REPORT: Disney California Adventure 12/9/19 (Marvel Avengers Campus Construction, Rainy Day Crowds, and More!)

Welcome to a rainy day at Disney California Adventure. We love rainy days as the crowds are usually manageable and ride wait times are short!

The Disneyland Main Entrance Plaza was pretty empty, but at least the rain makes some great reflections.

Crowds

Umbrellas and ponchos were the theme of the morning here.

Mid-day, Guardians of the Galaxy only had a 15-minute standby wait.

This normally crowded walkway was a breeze to stroll down today.

The Festival of Holidays is still in full swing and as long as you didn’t mind a wet table to snack on booths were busy.

Even Cars Land had a tiny crowd.

Holiday Trees

The main DCA Christmas tree still looks impressive against the grey skies.

This tiny tree sits in front of Grizzly Peak and offers a nice holiday twist at the photo spot.

We also found the Frozen 2 Wishables inside Big Top Toys.

Marvel Land Construction

Still not much to see but we are excited for this land to eventually open.

From the Guardians side Marvel Land is slowly coming together.

All we can see is the giant crane, walls and some blue scrim.

On the Grizzly Peak side still not much showing other than construction walls and the tops of buildings.

We hope you enjoyed a quick rainy walk around DCA with us. Feel free to comment on your favorite thing to do on rainy Disney days!
