Firecracker Three Cup Chicken Wings – $7.50
This little cup of chicken and rice packs a punch. By far one of the better savory dishes this is full of spicy flavor.

The portion is a bit small for the price, but this spicy bowl of fun will give you a kick, if that’s what you’re looking for. I don’t normally like dark meat chicken, but I ate this without any problems. The rice and chicken were perfectly cooked. The sauce was slightly sweet to offset the spice from the chili pepper.

This was garnished nicely. Most hungry guests would enjoy this.

*NEW* Shrimp & Ginger Dumplings with Soy Reduction and Sriracha Mayo – $8.25

These were great. We got a large portion with large chunks of shrimp.

That being said, we couldn’t taste the ginger though as the sriracha mayo overpowered a lot of it. The heat from the sriracha was a nice compliment to add heat and flavor.

It wasn’t shrimp-y or fishy at all.

Purple Yam Macaron with Crème Fraîche – $6.50
This macaron is not quite as much fun as the Birthday Hat Macaron from Cozy Cone that was available for Get Your Ears On Celebration, but it is still good. And not the sugar bomb that the birthday hat is.

Like all the Lunar New Year food offerings, this is simple and beautiful. The shell cracked apart in a satisfying way.

The purple filling was an interesting color against the red shell and if I didn’t know it was yam, I likely wouldn’t have guessed.

This was a simple dessert that could easily be shared with several guests.

Sadly, no hidden sprinkles, but just more creamy goodness.

This dessert rounded out this booth nicely to cool down your palate after some spice.
*NEW* Honey-Lime Green Tea with Bourbon (alcoholic beverage) – $13.00

This wasn’t our favorite drink. It was super sweet and made even sweeter with the addition of the honey candy stick.

The bourbon adds a subtle smokey finish, but this mostly tastes of super sweet tea.

If you like sugary/sweet alcoholic drinks then this is for you. Otherwise, skip this for one of the gin drinks if you want something strong.

While certainly spicy, we love the Red Dragon Spice Traders and highly recommend stopping by this booth during the festival run.
