There’s a new scavenger hunt in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland that allows kids under 9 years old (yes, they are fiercely enforcing this rule) to explore and research Batuu. When completing their mission, they will earn a special “coin”!
After picking up “Bina’s Guide to the Creatures of Batuu” at Creature Stall, children can explore Galaxy’s Edge and collect stamps from locations.
Let’s take a look at the guide, which is a nice souvenir in itself.
Some of the pages show diagrams of creatures and ask the reader to answer brief questions.
Other pages encourage kids to draw.
You can see the cast member here stamping the book.
After collecting stamps from each location listed in the guide, take the guide back to Creature Stall to earn this paper token, which looks a lot like an Oga’s Cantina drink coaster…
A young guest we spoke with said it took she and her sisters about 30 minutes to earn enough stamps for the token.
What do you think about the scavenger hunt? Is it something a young Star Wars fan you know would enjoy?
I love this idea, though I do wish they would open it up to more age ranges. I know that some things have to be limited for ages but this seams like one of the things they could open up to everyone. A lot of adult like people, Myself included, like to do these types of things.
