If you’re looking for the ultimate Valentine’s Day treat at Disney California Adventure, then you need to try the new Valentine’s Day Ice Cream Bar from Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream. While Clarabelle’s releases new seasonal treats regularly, this one’s perfect for the upcoming holiday.

The bar is comprised of vanilla ice cream dipped in dark chocolate, drizzled with milk chocolate, and topped with pink, red, and white, Valentine’s-themed sprinkles. Flavor-wise, it isn’t the most unique treat on property, but it definitely makes for a cute Valentine’s Day surprise.

The ice cream is high-quality and speckled with plenty of vanilla beans. It had a very thick consistency, but was still smooth. As expected, it was very sweet, but just about the right amount for an ice cream confection.

The dark chocolate exterior wasn’t too bitter, as dark chocolate can often be. We suspect the milk chocolate drizzle helped in that aspect. It actually complimented the sweet vanilla ice cream very well.

The Mickey and Minnie stamped piece of chocolate was a little bit sweeter, as it was white chocolate. The sprinkles added some extra crunch and color to the treat, but didn’t add much in terms of flavor.

Our main complaint about this treat is the inevitable dripping of ice cream at the bottom, but that won’t stop us from stopping by for even more Valentine’s Day ice cream bars from now until February 14th. For $6.49, you get a filling sweet treat that’s perfect for the ‘gram.
