*NEW* Ranch Fried Chicken Wings with Buffalo Hot Sauce Drizzle – $8.00
Wings. A classic dish we all know and love… but ranch fried wings? That’s a little different.
This plate comes with four chicken wings covered in a buffalo hot sauce.
When tasting this, we thought ranch was going to be a very powerful flavor, and it wasn’t. It tasted like any average wings you’ve ever had.
The chicken was a little chewy and some parts were still cold.
The buffalo hot sauce had a kick, but also almost had kind of a buttery aftertaste.
Sadly, the chicken just didn’t cut it for us.
French Onion Grilled Beef Tenderloin Slider – $8.50
This French Onion Grilled Beef Tenderloin is served between two pieces of white bread with onion and a lean piece of beef tenderloin.
This slider is the perfect portion size, taste, and price. The beef tenderloin is topped with a Fermier cheese that is absolutely delicious.
The meat is cooked perfectly. giving a nice buttery flavor, though the texture was a little stringy.
The Fermier cheese made this slider. It had almost a fruity taste while also being extremely savory.
The onion was grilled well, adding a bitter/sour taste that complimented the beef.
The bread was a normal white bread roll. We wished it was different, as it was very dry.
This is a slider that’s definitely worth your time.
*NEW* Chocolate Hazelnut Crunch – $6.50
This round dessert is a chocolate hazelnut crunch topped with gold flakes.
Cutting into this, we weren’t sure what to expect, but we were happily surprised.
The outer shell is milk chocolate with toasted hazelnuts, giving a sweet, nutty taste.
The inside is filled with a hazelnut mousse, which is amazing. The same nutty taste is brought through in an almost whipped cream-textured filling. Inside all of that, we then have a rich chocolate surrounding roasted hazelnuts.
The chocolate was creamy, smooth, and not too sweet, which I like. The hazelnuts had an almost roasted taste when paired with the chocolate. Overall, this is a great desert option.
Did you find this year’s edition of Cluck-A-Doodle-Moo a better version than last year, or has this marketplace yet to hit its stride?
