With just a few days left (or a few hours, in Disneyland’s case) before all of the Disney Parks in the United States close due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) concerns, the parks are making sure that the few guests that do make it into the parks during this time wash their hands as directed to reduce the risk of transmission.

Hand washing stations have been rolled out across Walt Disney World, with hand sanitizer stations readily available throughout the parks, and signage with proper sanitation guidelines at park entrances and restrooms. Now, new signage has been installed inside the bathrooms, directing guests to wash their hands for the minimum required length of time.

Over in Disneyland, new signs have been added to the restrooms located below the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure. The signs state: “Please wash your hands for 20 seconds”––the minimum amount of time recommended by the CDC.

Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, similar signs have been installed throughout all restrooms in the park.

For a full step-by-step guide on how to wash your hands (yes, you’ve probably been doing it wrong all this time), check out this handy guide by the World Health Organization. Washing your hands properly takes about as long as singing “Happy Birthday” twice, but any 20-second song works, and here at WDWNT, we’re partial to this particular Country Bear Jamboree classic by none other than those little Sun Bonnets from the sunshine state, Bunny, Bubbles, and Beulah:

Have you upped your handwashing technique since the outbreak? Will you be visiting the parks on their final days before the temporary closure? Make sure to use those hand-washing stations and hand sanitizer, ya hear?
