Disney Shares At-Home Dole Whip Recipe During Extended Parks Closure

We all love the classic Dole Whip at the Magic Kingdom and Disneyland, right? Truly, it’s never a visit to either park without one of those fruity, frosty treats. But lately we haven’t had the chance to try it, and it might be a while before we get to once again. Fortunately, Disney has our back! Yesterday, they sent out a special at-home recipe for something akin to a Dole Whip, via a short new video available on the My Disney Experience and Disneyland apps! It’s really quite simple, with only a few steps and an easily accessible ingredient list. Let’s get going!

For this recipe, you’ll need the following:

  • 1 big scoop of vanilla ice cream
  • 4 oz of pineapple juice
  • 2 cups of frozen pineapples

You’ll also need a blender, and optionally and a piping bag (like for icing cakes) with a star-shaped tip.

Just blend all of the ingredients until smooth. Then if you want the the swirled treat look, put it in the piping bag an squeeze it into a cup or cone.

Maybe you should think about adding some extra pineapple juice to your cup for that true Dole Whip Float experience! Keep in mind that this recipe is only for a single serving, but just picture how much easier staying at home might feel with a classic Disney Parks treat like this!

Of course, the Dole Whip served in the park is a non-dairy treat made… a bit differently. But, the mix that is used to make it is actually available online via Amazon!

However, you need a home ice cream maker to properly prepare it. But fortunately, even the inexpensive Cuisinart below will work well, also available on Amazon.
