Iger sent the Englishtown-Manalapan First Aid Squad (EMFAS) in Monmouth County, New Jersey a shipment Disney Parks ponchos to use as personal protective equipment and snacks to keep the crew fueled between calls.

It all started on April 29th, with a tweet from squad Chief Tracie Cuccia to Iger:

Minutes later, Iger responded:

On Thursday, the squad showed off their generous donation.

This is far from Disney’s first donation to first responders. Previously, the company has donated snacks to Orlando-area police and masks and ponchos to hospitals. As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic continues to rip across the United States, it’s comforting to know that volunteers like the First Aid Squad are being recognized for their efforts.
