It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of legendary actor and comedian Jerry Stiller, whose talents were featured in numerous Disney movies and animated television series.
Stiller, who most famously played George Costanza’s hot-headed father on the hit TV series “Seinfeld”, had his first role in a Disney movie in 1995 with the American family comedy-drama film, Heavyweights. He starred alongside his wife, Anne Meara and his son, Ben Stiller.
Jerry Stiller went on to lend his talents to various animated features and TV series. He and his wife Anne voiced Harvey and Winnie, a pair of married RVs in Disney’s Planes: Fire & Rescue. Stiller also voiced Principal Stickler in Season 1 of Disney’s “Fish Hooks”, Pretty Boy in “Teachers Pet”, and Uncle Max in the direct-to-video sequel, The Lion King 1½.
I’m sad to say that my father, Jerry Stiller, passed away from natural causes. He was a great dad and grandfather, and the most dedicated husband to Anne for about 62 years. He will be greatly missed. Love you Dad. pic.twitter.com/KyoNsJIBz5

Ben Stiller took to Twitter to share a message about his father’s passing:
“I’m sad to say that my father, Jerry Stiller, passed away from natural causes. He was a great dad and grandfather, and the most dedicated husband to Anne for about 62 years. He will be greatly missed. Love you Dad.”
So next time you find yourself screaming, “Serenity now!” or, for some odd reason, watching The Lion King 1½, take a moment to take in the comedic brilliance of the late Jerry Stiller.
