Disneyland Resort Accepting Hotel Reservations Beginning August 1st

Though the theme parks may not have an official reopening date, the Disneyland Resort has announced that hotels are currently accepting reservations beginning Saturday, August 1st.

The news came in an email to guests currently holding reservations through July, asking them to modify or cancel their reservation.

The theme parks were originally scheduled to reopen beginning July 17th, but plans were later postponed until an unknown date. The Downtown Disney District is still scheduled to reopen beginning July 9th.

  1. Why do they put themselves through this agony only to have to disappoint again? This park is probably not going to open anytime soon. They are continuing to close down the counties surrounding the park. San Diego had indoor seating in restaurants two days ago and now that is not allowed. Orange indoor dining got shut down 6 days ago.

Open hotel reservations up 5 days in advance of park opening; doing otherwise I s madness. I’ve been modified and refunded three times and finally said enough!
