Due to an alarming spike in confirmed COVID-19 cases, California Governor Gavin Newsom has ordered that all counties on the “monitoring list” for the state, including Orange County, close indoor operations to mitigate spread.
Effective immediately, all restaurants, wineries, movie theaters and family entertainment, zoos, museums, and cardrooms must close all indoor operations. Bars must close all operations.
With the guidance in place for at least three weeks, and Downtown Disney District still slated for a July 9 reopening, this may directly impact a number of eateries across the shopping and dining complex. Some locations that offer outdoor dining may continue to operate just the outdoor section of seating.
We’ll continue to update you on any further details regarding the new regulations, as well as any upcoming announcements from Disneyland Resort regarding modified operations.
