According to video podcast Kessel Run Radio, a Lando Calrissian series is currently in development for Disney+ and Donald Glover will reprise the main role.
Glover played Lando in 2018’s Solo: A Star Wars Story alongside Alden Ehrenreich’s young Han Solo. Billy Dee Williams played Lando in the original Star Wars series, and reprised the role in The Rise of Skywalker. A series starring Glover would likely be a prequel to the original trilogy, or maybe take place at the same time as A New Hope.

Whether the rumor is true or not, the series is likely delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Obi-Wan series has been delayed to 2022, while the Cassian Andor series is still on track to release next year. A Lando Calrissian series would probably come after both of these premiered.
