Josh D’Amaro Discusses Disney Parks Reopening in New Interview, Says “We’re Ready” to Reopen Disneyland Resort Parks When Guidelines Permit

Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Chairman Josh D’Amaro says that Disney is “ready” to reopen the parks of the Disneyland Resort as soon as California guidelines allow in a recent interview.

D’Amaro recently made the statement on “The Dow Report,” a show hosted by U.S. Travel Association President and CEO Roger Dow. As he stated, “…we don’t have any California guidelines for opening. And as soon as a date and those guidelines are set, I can tell you we’re ready.”

D’Amaro also discussed in the interview the technologies and systems in place at Disney parks to keep guests safe during the COVID-19 pandemic, including Disney Parks Pass reservations for parks at Walt Disney World, as well as Mobile Order at dining and queue reservations at shopping locations.

In preparation for the upcoming reopenings, both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park have recently installed plexiglass safety shields at all entry turnstiles. You can read more on preparations for the resort by clicking here.
