Earlier this evening, we learned that the live-action Mulan would be made available to all Disney+ subscribers in the United Kingdom market starting December 4th.
Now, according to Screenrant, not only will the film be made available to everyone in the United Kingdom, but it will be free for all subscribers in all markets.
Mulan will still be available for purchase through Premier Access on Disney+ beginning September 4th, if you can’t wait for this film to be added to the catalog later in the year.

It is complete disappointment being a Disney+ subscriber and still being asked to pay $29.99 for the showing of Mulan. That is more than a movie ticket. If Disney wants to make money on it, remember lease it in the movie theaters where it belongs. I would prefer to see this type of movie on the big screen than on a TV set.

I think it sad that Disney is making US people pay to see it. The funny thing is that what they are charging is more than it would have cost to go the theater to see it.
Will it ever be available to theaters? This film deserves the big screen.

I will be waiting until it is free in Canada. I refuse to pay more than I would at the movie theatre to see a movie on a streaming service that I already pay for monthly.
This should be allowed to have a hybrid release (theaters and home VOD for Covid-concerned individuals).
