Marvel Postpones “Black Widow” Theatrical Release to May 7, 2021

Due to the ongoing closure of movie theaters throughout the nation, Black Widow, whose premiere date had previously pushed to November 6, is now set to debut on May 7, 2021—a year after it was supposed to originally premiere.

She’s lived a lot of lives, but she’s done running from her past. Scarlett Johansson reprises her role as Natasha/Black Widow in Marvel Studios’ action-packed spy thriller Black Widow — the first film in Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Florence Pugh stars as Yelena, David Harbour as Alexei aka The Red Guardian and Rachel Weisz as Melina. Directed by Cate Shortland and produced by Kevin Feige, Black Widow hits U.S. theaters on May 7, 2021.
