Get ready to peek behind the scenes and see just what goes into taking care of all those animals at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Disney has released the trailer for the National Geographic series “Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom,” coming to Disney+ on Friday, September 25th.
Narrated by Josh Gad, this eight-episode series will take you into the animal care facilities in the park (as well as The Seas with Nemo and Friends at EPCOT) and introduce you to the dedicated staff that looks after the creatures that make the park special. We’ll also get to see animal interactions not normally seen by the public, including a humorous feeding of a hippopotamus, as seen above.
In a recent statement, Dr. Mark Penning, Vice President, Disney’s Animals, Science and Environment, Disney Parks said, “Whether you have visited our parks hundreds of times, or you are being introduced for the first time through “Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom,” viewers will get an unparalleled, all-new experience as they meet some of the most intriguing animals in our care. I’m extremely proud of the work our team does to accomplish and deliver on Disney’s commitment to best-in-class animal care and conservation as we aim to live in harmony with nature and protect the wondrous wildlife on our planet.”
