There’s a new way to watch Disney movies on iTunes.
Disney has made dozens of titles available in 4K HDR, according to The Verge‘s Chris Welch including Disney’s live-action and animated titles, as well as offerings from Pixar, Marvel Studios, and the Star Wars universe.
Currently, the upgrade is available in the United States and Canadian iTunes stores, with more countries set to get the 4K versions by the end of the year. Previously, the highest resolution available was 1080p. Those who purchased the 1080p versions or have them through a connected library with Movies Anywhere should now be able to access the 4K versions at no additional cost, as well as watch them on the Apple TV app.
In addition to a higher resolution picture, the films will also feature Dolby Vision HDR and Atmos surround sound, similar to how they’re available on Disney+.
