Magic Kingdom
- We heard a rumor that TRON Lightcycle / Run may not open in time for Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary as our sources indicate that most, if not all, of the field team working on the attraction has been laid off

- We also heard another rumor, this time a positive one — the Virtual Queue system in use on Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is set to roll out to other attractions starting with Jungle Cruise at Magic Kingdom and Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- Guests will need to wait a bit longer to take a trip on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover at the Magic Kingdom as the refurbishment calendar shows the attraction will not open until January 2, 2021 at the earliest
- With “it’s a small world” almost entirely covered with scrims at the Magic Kingdom, Disney has decided to give us something to look at with new colorful themed scrims replacing some of the plain white
- Disney Park Pass reservations for Magic Kingdom are fully booked on December 25 for theme park ticket guests and Disney Resort guests
EPCOT
- Walt Disney Imagineering has filed a new permit for the “installation of anchors to provide additional mooring for center barge” to be used in “Harmonious”, the upcoming nighttime spectacular at EPCOT
- Alice of Alice in Wonderland and Anna from Frozen were both greeting guests in new socially-distanced locations at EPCOT today

Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- Disney Park Pass reservations for Disney’s Hollywood Studios are fully booked on January 1, 2021 for theme park ticket guests and Disney Resort guest

Other Walt Disney World News
- The 2020 third-quarter injury report for Central Florida theme parks, including Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Orlando Resort, was released and it mentions EPCOT and Universal’s Volcano Bay theme parks among the few reported injuries
- Disney Vacation Club has increased the number of total points members must purchase to be eligible for Membership Magic perks from 100 to 125
Disneyland Resort

- The Coalition of Resort Labor Unions has written a letter directly to Governor Gavin Newsom in support of the reopening of Disneyland Resort
- Cast Members who transferred to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge from Disney California Adventure are part of the most recent wave of the 28,000 layoffs, because they lost all scheduling seniority due to Disneyland and Disney California Adventure having separate union contracts
- During today’s COVID-19 update, Governor Gavin Newsom stated that the California Health and Human Services Secretary, Dr. Mark Ghaly, will supposedly be giving an update on theme park reopenings tomorrow
Tokyo Disney Resort

- One of Tokyo DisneySea’s most beloved institutions is the intricately detailed Teddy Roosevelt Lounge and as of October 29, it will reopen to welcome guests once again

- The Haunted Mansion wallpaper handbag collection by Dooney & Bourke has now materialized at Walt Disney World
- Lightsaber hilt pieces are once again being sold separately outside of Savi’s Workshop in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- New limited edition pins have arrived on shopDisney to celebrate milestone anniversaries of three classic Disney films: Pinocchio, The Aristocats, and The Three Caballeros
