While Tropical Storm Eta continues to rain down on Florida, the Disney characters are still celebrating Christmas in rainy day versions of their cavalcades at Magic Kingdom, as Goofy took over for Santa in his own Rainy Day Christmas Cavalcade, and the Disney Princesses hopped on some Main Street Vehicles for a Rainy Day Christmas Cavalcade of their own
As Tropical Storm Eta is blowing its way around the southern tip of Florida, we had a wet and blustery day here at the park but nothing could dampen our spirits as we took in all the amazing Christmas sights, sounds, and tastes here on our photo tour of the Magic Kingdom
The Lunching Pad in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom is now open every day, extended from its previous weekends-only schedule

EPCOT

Kringla Bakeri og Kafe is now open on weekdays at the Norway Pavilion in EPCOT, an extension from the previous weekends-only schedule
Similarly, Sommerfest in the Germany Pavilion of EPCOT has had its days extended and is now open seven days a week

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Disney’s Hollywood Studios has a new map, as well as an insert describing all of the park’s holiday offerings, and it is (to our knowledge) the first to feature a picture of a same-sex couple on the front

Walt Disney World Resort Hotels

The walkway connecting Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa seems poised to open soon with lampposts installed along the sidewalks and the bridge fully operational

Celebrate the holiday season this year at Give Kids the World as for the first time ever, the children’s charity will be hosting Night of a Million Lights, a walk-through experience where families can view millions of twinkling lights as far as the eye can see
As Walt Disney World prepares for its 50th anniversary next year, the transformation of the Western Way entrance is moving forward at a relatively quick pace with newly painted grey columns and a new backdrop for Mickey Mouse

Disneyland Resort

Ahead of select shops and restaurants reopening their doors for the first time in months, Christmas decorations have been installed along Buena Vista Street at Disney California Adventure
As the parks of the Disneyland Resort remain closed indefinitely under California’s theme park reopening guidelines, another sign that the shutdown is here for the long run has emerged as the resort hotels are no longer accepting any new reservations, including ones beginning in 2021
New signage has been set up in the Downtown Disney District stating that parties larger than four must be broken up and can no longer stand on the same queue marking

Tokyo Disney Resort

Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa has begun its phased reopening following a 7-month closure due to COVID-19 and to welcome guests back, they are now offering up to 30% off select rooms for 5-night stays from January 4 through March 11, 2021
