Magic Kingdom
- Rumors of a Wreck-It Ralph attraction replacing Stitch’s Great Escape in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom have been around for years and now it seems work may be underway on the rumored attraction, with clear construction happening near the site
- Casey’s Corner remains closed at Magic Kingdom, so to create more space for social distancing in the connected Emporium, some apparel displays have been moved into the Casey’s Corner dining room
- Magic Kingdom is offering up tons of holiday-themed treats this year like the Fa La La La Funnel Cake, and we have your review right here
- We also got to try the new Sugar and Spice Churros, which are iced and come paired with a glass of eggnog, and can be found at a snack cart near Cinderella Castle
EPCOT
- Join us on our photo report at EPCOT as we see the Apple Fritter Donut Holes redeemed, some new Passholder holiday merchandise, Innoventions West undergoing demolition, and more
- Work on the exterior spaces at the France Pavilion expansion continues, with new details being added nearly every day, like the new “Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure” Stand-By Wait Time sign installed inside the expansion area entrance
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- Affection Section at Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be reopening to guests this weekend, according to the attraction’s webpage
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- Walt Disney World resorts have begun to put up their Christmas decorations, starting with Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and we have your sneak peek right here
Other Walt Disney World News
- Paint crews are in high gear preparing Walt Disney World Resort entrance gateways for the upcoming 50th Anniversary celebration, with work continuing on the Western Way entrance sign as new paint details were added today
- Park hours have just been posted for the Walt Disney World theme parks through Saturday, January 23, 2021
- During today’s Fiscal Full Year and Q4 2020 Earnings Results webcast, Disney CFO Christine McCarthy has indicated that Disney Park Pass reservations for Walt Disney World are currently 77% booked for Q1 2021, or the current holiday season through December
- Disney CEO Bob Chapek has confirmed that the Walt Disney World theme parks are currently operating at 35% capacity, increased from 25%
Disneyland Resort
- Disney CFO Christine McCarthy has indicated that the Disney Parks division anticipates Disneyland Resort will remain closed through end of the fiscal first quarter in 2021, or at least until January 2021
Tokyo Disney Resort
- With the news that The Happy Fair with Baymax will start January 13th at Tokyo Disneyland also came a slew of new food offerings that will be available across the park, but mostly in Tomorrowland
New Merchandise
- The Happy Fair with Baymax starts January 13th at Tokyo Disneyland, so the Oriental Land Company has revealed some of the Baymax-centric merchandise that will go on sale for the special event starting January 8th

Entertainment and Media
Disney+
- After many delays, “WandaVision” will be the first phase four series in the MCU, with an official debut date announced of January 15, only on Disney+
- Disney+ has surpassed 73 million subscribers as of October 3, far exceeding their expectations for the platform
The Walt Disney Company
- The Walt Disney Company discussed the fiscal full year and fourth quarter 2020 financial results via a live audio webcast today
- The Walt Disney Company has released the Q4 earnings report for 2020, beating expectations with $14 billion in revenue, but still experiencing loss in the Disney Parks, Experiences and Products segment, as a number of parks, such as Disneyland Resort are still shuttered
- For the full fiscal year, Disney recorded a GAAP net loss of $2.83 billion, which is exceedingly rare as Disney has not reported an annual GAAP loss in FactSet records that date to 1980, and has not reported two consecutive quarterly losses on records dating back to 1996
Universal Studios
Universal Orlando Resort
- Universal Studios Florida continues to prepare for Christmas with more decorations and Christmas trees, including these Christmas trees featuring Hello Kitty, Spongebob Squarepants, “The Mummy”, and “Men In Black”
