With ICU capacity dipping below 15% in Southern California, the previously-announced stay-at-home order is now in place across Orange County and Anaheim. With this new order, all dining must revert back to take-out and delivery, and at Disneyland Resort, they’re taking the order very seriously, closing all restaurants at both Downtown Disney District and its recently-opened Buena Vista Street expansion.
The first of the operational updates was reported by MousePlanet, which claims Disneyland Resort will put these new measures into place Monday, December 7. All Disney-owned restaurants will be temporarily closed, and 350 Cast Members will return to furlough because of this reduction. Third party restaurants can fulfill carry-out orders, but they cannot be consumed on-property.
At this time, retail will remain open, but at 20% capacity or lower, as per the new guidelines. Yesterday, it was announced that Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa would not be reopening as planned this weekend, also due to the order.

Thank God I live in Florida where my governor knows what he is doing. My dinner at Disney Springs tonight was excellent. Maybe I’ll go to another restaurant there later this week.
