Set in the lush, beautiful Colombia, Disney’s “Encanto” has been announced as Walt Disney Animation Studios’ 60th animated film.

The film will feature music by Lin-Manuel Miranda, directed by Byron Howard and Jared Bush, co-directed and co-written by Charise Castro Smith.

While there are few details available on the plot, Disney promises a movie full of “magical realism”. “Encanto” debuts on November 2021.
