Tickets Now Available for “Ratatouille: The TikTok Musical” Virtual Stream to Benefit The Actors Fund

Remy, the ratatouille… the rat of all my dreams—is coming to a screen near you! That’s right, “Ratatouille: The TikTok Musical”, a viral sensation, has been greenlit for Broadway… well, kind of. According to Playbill, Seaview Productions will present a filmed concert presentation on January 1, with tickets now available to benefit The Actors Fund. 

Further details, like the production’s cast, creative team, and more, have yet to be revealed. Disney has been leaning in to the popularity of the musical, even submitting their own “audition” for a musical number from within the Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure attraction at EPCOT via the Disney Parks TikTok account.

In a statement to Playbill, Lizzy Hale, senior manager of content at TikTok US, commented on the musical sensation that is the fan-made Ratatouille Musical:

It has been magical to watch the TikTok community create and embrace the #RatatouilleMusical. From @e_jaccs’ original ‘Ode to Remy’ to @shoeboxmusicals’ set designs, seeing the endless creativity of the platform and the wider community rallying around it has inspired and driven a new forum for theater lovers to express themselves, participate, and enjoy the show.

After its January 1 premiere at 7:00 PM (ET), Ratatouille: The TikTok Musical will be available to stream for 72 hours. Click here for $5 tickets.
